Payday Super: Understand the impact of Payday Super and changes that are required from 1 July 2026
On 25 November 2025, Steve Batrouney from Prince Consulting joined together with Emma Rosenzweig from the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) to present a webinar hosted by Humanforce in relation to Payday Super. There are a number of important changes that businesses need to understand in order to plan implementation of changes that will be required within:
- Payroll systems
- HR policies
- Relationships with Clearing Houses and Superannuation Funds
- Communications with employees
There will be additional information to follow over the next 6 months as the ATO continues to develop materials and advice for employers, clearing houses, superannuation funds and employees.
Plan early to be properly prepared for commencement of Payday Super on 1 July 2026.
Regulus tax technology platform
Managing payroll and compliance in Australia is challenging. Superannuation is complicated whilst each state has different rules for Payroll Tax and Workers Compensation. Manual processes and spreadsheets often lead to costly errors.
Regulus takes away that burden by automating compliance to save your team time and avoid unnecessary mistakes.
